Sepideh Yeoh earned her BA in Psychology from University at Buffalo and MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Canisius College of Buffalo. While she enjoyed her first post graduate school career in Student Affairs, transition to motherhood presented her with the opportunity to try a slightly different career path with a more flexible schedule allowing her to spent time with and enjoy her children. Although leaving a career she was trained for and loved wasn’t easy, it is a decision she has never regretted. While establishing Inspired By Sepideh, she became very involved with her children’s school, serving on the parent/faculty board leading her to run for school board and serve which was an honor and privilege to do. She also co-authored a college text book with a good friend and colleague from Upstate New York. She has designed and taught numerous classes and workshops. Having gone through many transitions in her life, Sepideh’s Coaching Practice is devoted to working with individuals make peace with transitions in their life.

She is active in the community and has established two networking groups: GIFT (Gaining Insight For Transition) for Women and GIFT for Young Adults.

Her biggest accomplishment is her role as a mother to Neelu (18) and Bijan (15). Besides spending time with her husband, children and their puppy Cher, she loves running, hiking, practicing yoga and meditation.

Why GIFT? Because we are always in transition with a a story waiting to be shared.

The idea of creating GIFT (Gaining Insight for Transition) began with an increasing interest from adult students/women in the classes Sepideh teaches in personal development. We are all transitioning into the next level, often without the necessary skills, knowledge and tools to get to the next transition peacefully. It’s through these life transitions that anxiety and depression find their way into our hearts and prevent us from moving forward.

GIFT’s mission and purpose is to create a loving and supportive network for people in transitional stages and inspire them to connect with their passions, dreams and skills through access to a guest lecture series, employment and volunteer opportunities, and monthly meetings that encourage personal and professional growth.

These events are held on the first Tuesday of each month (with the summer off). Please RSVP for events on Eventbrite.
